The centre for interdisciplinary mathematics – CIM

The Centre for Interdisciplinary Mathematics in Uppsala facilitates joint research between the mathematical sciences and other disciplines and industry. Our aim is to integrate mathematics and science in order to understand real world systems.

Graduate school

CIM runs a graduate school for students wishing to pursue an interdisciplinary mathematical research project. Our aim is to educate students to have a broad capacity for using mathematical models to understand the many different aspects of the world. We do this through a combination of courses, seminar series and the research projects undertaken by the students.
